It’s Monday. Comic-Con is over. I’m poorer now for all the money I’ve spent, but richer for all the fun and memories! The standing seems to have helped a bit. I can’t be sure, but I seemed to endure more than the folks I was with. Comic-Con is less standing or walking, and more shuffling forward 5 inches at a time. It is difficult to prepare for this. Next year I will return to this blog!

Day 6

One hour down, got a headstart on it today just after midnight. I won’t be posting again till after Comic-Con since I’m leaving later today, so I guess that’s the end of this crazy blog. Man, what a ride it’s been. What a crazy ride.

Day5

It doesn’t look like I’ll be making it the full hour today since I need to go to bed. If only it were easier to play pc games standing up! It’s okay, I kind of made it up by moving around a lot more and adding weights by holding various heavy objects. 45 minutes today.

Edit: I made it to one hour! Just stayed up a bit and considered doing productive things a good enough justification. I could stand and mess around with Hammer for hours!

Day 3 and 4

Day 3 went as planned. One hour, no hassle.

Day 4, however, was almost missed! I have work in about 7 hours and wasn’t about to stand for an hour. I need to sleep! But then I remembered I was making a big batch of bagel chips earlier and I stood the entire time! Took over an hour, so there you go. I did it without even realizing it. Thanks, old rock hard bagels!

Day 2 almost didn’t happen!

It was 3:29am, about to go to bed, but then I remembered I didn’t stand for an hour yet! Geordi would have been very mad at me. Now, over an hour later, I am sitting. I really wanted to sit too, but I had to forge onward!

First day is done

Legs started to feel the pain. I feel more prepared already.

Time for me to start standing and walking around for at least an hour in preparation for Comic-Con. It starts today!
